STILLWATER, MN — Josiah Hill, an English teacher at Stillwater Area High School, has once again thrown his hat into state politics. Hill launched his campaign in mid-February as he seeks the DFL's nomination to run for Minnesota's 33B House District, which was recently redrawn by a special redistricting panel. The new district includes Stillwater, Bayport, Oak Park Heights, May and Stillwater townships, Scandia, and parts of Forest Lake and Marine on St. Croix. Hill said his campaign team "will be working tirelessly to be a champion for the environment, our young people, our schools and for economic justice for all Minnesotans." Hill easily won the DFL's nomination in 2020 for Minnesota's 39th Senate District, earning almost 87 percent of the vote to Brian Hile's 13.1 percent, according to Ballotpedia.
