Clackamas 50-Pound Meth Seizure Leads To Indictment Of Local Men

GRESHAM, OR — The meeting in Clackamas County on February 2 was supposed to go smoothly. Two men, one from Gresham and one from Beaverton, arrived with 50 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 10,000 pills believed to contain fentanyl. The men – Juan-Manuel Angulo, 50, of Gresham and Enrique Ocegueda, 31, of Beaverton – were selling and expecting the man that they were meeting to show up with cash. A lot of cash. Instead, the man showed up with backup. A lot of backup. The man was an undercover federal agent. He was working with other federal agents. The details for this story are spelled out in court and other documents. Angulo and Ocegueda were arrested and on Tuesday they were indicted, charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl. After arresting the two, federal agents searched the homes of Angulo and Ocegueda as well as a storage locker belonging to Ocegueda. By the time that the searches were finished, federal agents had seized another 15 pounds of meth, one pound of heroin, and $50,000 in cash. The two will be arranged on Friday in Portland Federal Court.
