Description

Press release from the City of Shaker Heights: March 3, 2022 Employees and visitors are no longer required to wear masks in City buildings, including City Hall, the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building and Thornton Park. Individuals may choose to mask at any time and we will continue to provide masks at the reception desks of City buildings. In recognition, that each individual's circumstances and health conditions are different, please be respectful of others who prefer to be masked. On February 25, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a new guidance, along with a community level metrics tool for its masking guidance.  Since Cuyahoga County is currently in the medium transmission level, indoor mask wearing is not required per the CDC guidance. Please note, this change in City masking policy is dependent on continued low COVID-19 case rates within our County. This press release was produced by the City of Shaker Heights.
