EAGAN, MN — An Eagan woman was killed in a crash Tuesday evening in Castle Rock Township in Dakota County, according to Minnesota State Patrol. Susan Marie Jenkins, 68, was driving her 2021 Ford Transit Van northbound on Highway 3 at around 5:30 Tuesday evening when she t-boned a 2013 Toyota Rav4, MSP said. The RAV4 was driving eastbound on 280th St and continued into the intersection after stopping at a stop sign, officials said. After the crash, both cars came to a rest in snowbanks northeast of the site of the crash, MSP said. Jenkins appears to have been pronounced dead at the scene, as she was not taken to any healthcare facilities. The driver of the RAV4 sustained non-life threatening injuries, MSP said.
