Meets

Round Rock TX

Description

Are you female singer? Have you ever played one on TV? Can you sing with the force of a hurricane and the attitude of a black panther? Can you get audiences undivided attention WITHOUT taking your clothes of and or committing a felony in the process?? Speaking of clothes, do you have a style that you own, one that would make even Lady Gaga go, “your kidding me right”?!? If the answer is yes, please, indulge me and keep reading. The warmer weather is coming and I’m a drummer looking to put a crew together that can make a room jump and groove. To quote Duck Dunn, “a band powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline”! Now, so we’re not wasting each other’s times, here are some of the parameters ; Rehearse Saturdays starting around noon (side note, once we get going, I don’t want to practice much) Gig Fridays (maybe occasional Thursdays if I can get us into the Oasis) You’re the lead vocals,,,can you play guitar or keys?? It’d be cooler if you did Must be willing to help get a crowd to the shows! No drugs or heavy drunks, sorry can’t deal with the bs MUST KNOW HOW TO JAM / SEGUE on the fly! Be fun, responsible, have a work ethic, and BE A TEAM PLAYER!! I’ve done mostly blues gigs over the last few years and want to change gears. Here are some of the songs that I are in the vicinity of what I want to play – remember, its all about groove and dancability; Rollercoaster – Ohio Players Everybody Wants Some – VH Funky Town – the Psuedo Echo version Rock n Roll All Night – KISS You Dropped the Bomb On Me – Gap Band Stupid Girl – Garbage Hella Good – No Doubt Ready to Go – Republica Hit Me With Your Best Shot (the Live from Earth version) Pat Benatar Black Cat – Janet Jackson Play That Funky Music – Wild Cherry Rock Me Right - Susan Tedeschi The Mercury – Turnpike Troubadours Save a Horse – Big and Rich Uptown Funk – Bruno Mars Flashlight – P Funk Superfreak / Can’t Touch This Im looking to play places like, but not limited to; 602 Brewing Co, Cedar Street, Oasis, Meanwhile Brewing Now, brace for impact, as you might have guessed, I’m a little old school (aka, got a few miles to me) and admittedly, I could prolly have some more up to date things but those are groovers to me that never get old and I really like playing. But the thing is, can you dig what I’m layin down here? If so, chances are we’ll have a lot in common and can come up with more fun jams Here’s a couple of my links, send some of yours, lets talk https://youtu.be/UxJj4CuXZYE my demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKfIyOBdEnU&t=1s from back in the day
