CHEF FOR PRIVATE YACHT
Experienced fine dining chef wanted for private 70’ yacht. This is a 2–3-month gig for the chef who is ready for an adventure to and around Southeast Alaska. Vessel will be moving North from San Diego in early May, arriving in Alaska late May. (Chef needed from June 1 – July 30, 2022, these are minimum dates, may be earlier and or later if mutually agreed).
The candidate must possess an easygoing personality, cleanliness a necessity, abilities to be utilized with a variety of tasks aboard the vessel as crew and deckhand as needed. It is imperative that the chef has experience with seafood cookery and the skills to work in a small vessel galley.
Non-smoker is a must. While guests are on board (no more than 5 at a time, 8 total with owner and crew), the chef will prepare 3 meals per day plus evening appetizers. Typically, there will be one day per week with minimal cooking duties.
This is a great opportunity for an adventurous person that likes the ocean and fishing, targeting all species including Dungeness Crab and Spot Prawn with ample sightseeing.
Compensation package is negotiable depending on experience and attitude.
