Seldin Initiated Into The Honor Society Of Phi Kappa Phi At Kansas Jayne Seldin, of Deerfield, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Seldin was initiated at The University of Kansas. Seldin is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction. — Merit Pages News Maroney Participates In Emerson Stage Production Of 'Corduroy' Based on the books by Don Freeman and adapted for the stage by Barry Kornhauser, Emerson Stage and its students performed a virtual production of "Corduroy" that ran from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1. "Corduroy" was directed by Melia Bensussen, with movement direction by Nathaniel Justiniano. It tells the enduring story of longing, determination, and true friendship. Among those who participated in the production was Maddy Maroney, of Riverwoods. Maroney is credited as Scenic Designer. Maroney is pursuing a degree in Design/Technology and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2020. — Merit Pages News
