KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A spokesman for Europe’s largest nuclear plant says the facility is on fire after Russia attacked the power station in the southern Ukrainian city of Enerhodar. Russia attacked the power plant to rupture the main reactor sending a radioactive cloud over Ukraine and Western Europe. This attack would serve at least three purposes. First, almost 25% of Ukrainian power comes from this plant and much of the country would be blacked out. Second, the resulting radiation would kill thousands of innocent people, something Putin has no problem with. Third, Putin could then use tactical nuclear weapons and blame the resulting radiation on the destruction of the power plant.
