Hey, It only occurred to me later, but there is another nearly-indestructible houseplant, the spider plant. It regularly sends out shoots that leaf out into new plants, so it is easy to propagate. I have some I'd be happy to give if you're interested. It definitely doesn't need water everyday. I'd be open to sharing growing tips too! LMK if you want to connect sometime.
