***Only serious candidates meeting the requirements below should apply*** Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the terminal operates in an efficient, timely and safe manner. Terminal operations include truck processing, modified asphalt production, controlled movement of molten liquid asphalt and fuel products from receipt to sales via truck and marine vessels. Storage tank monitoring for temperature and levels, product movement requires computer and math skills which include ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide. The candidate will be responsible for completing a new hire process which includes a Federal background check and must complete a six month probation period before being considered a permanent employee. Candidate must maintain a punctual and dependable work schedule. Must be available to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts. Adhere to all safety policies. Principal Duties and Responsibilities When required: • Monitor loading and off-loading of barges and ships, ensure tank alinement prior to discharge. • Ensure proper paperwork is complete and all safety precautions are followed. • Complete and maintain daily inventory of products. • Responsible for monitoring truck loading and ensuring proper rack alinement and documentation. • Assists other workers when necessary in a team atmosphere. • Perform other required duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • Must have good work ethic, be a self-starter with ability to work alone. • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks and performing a variety of duties. • Must be able to climb storage tank ladders to heights of 70 feet. • Moderate lifting, bending, twisting and squatting. Frequent walking and standing required. • Must exhibit mechanical ability and aptitude for power equipment and tools. • Must be capable of understanding, reading, writing and speaking English. • Must adhere to all safety and environmental regulations. Environment and Working Conditions: • Work requires exposure to various outdoor climates. • Uniforms are required and will be supplied by company. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to complete the following training:  TWIC Certification prior to hire, (must pass Federal background check).  Mandatory 24-hour Hazmat training. Company sponsored after 6 months of service.
