Volunteer for construction projects

Need a pair of hands for a construction or remodeling project? I’m willing to help. I’ve never been employed as a construction worker but am a handy person, work full-time in a factory. Used to operating hand and power tools. I have not done a lot of construction in my life- I have done some indoor painting as a volunteer. I’m really willing to try anything, as long as you basically know what you are doing, have the patience to teach someone as they help you. I really am just seeking to learn construction, home repair skills to better myself. I’m available on weekday mornings from 9am to 2pm. I live in Rogers Park- willing to volunteer anywhere in the NE side, Evanston, Lincolnwood or Skokie.
