RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTSDRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL Guillermo Ott, 30, of the 300 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 11:32 p.m. Oct. 5 near Portwine Road and Lake Cook Road. He was released on a $3,000 bond, and was assigned a court date of Nov. 25 in Waukegan. Frank J. Higgins, 29, of the 2600 block of Duffy Lane, Riverwoods, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Sept. 23 on Saunders Raod near E Course Drive. He was released on a $3,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 28 in Waukegan. Konrad D. Zielinski, 34, of the 1800 block of Robinwood Lane, Riverwoods, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested following a single vehicle crash investigation at 8:32 a.m. Sept. 24 on Robinwood Lane. He was released on $3,000 bond, and assigned a court date of Oct. 28 in Waukegan.Salvador Batalla-Cornelio, 32, of the 300 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, disobeying a red light, and was arrested at 4:12 a.m. Sept. 19 at Lake Cook and Saunders roads. He was released on a $3,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28 in Waukegan. INCIDENTSTRESPASS TO MOTOR VEHICLE A resident in the 2400 block of Forest Glen Trail reported at 8:27 a.m. Oct. 6 a trespass to motor vehicle incident had occurred overnight. Home surveillance video shows that at 3:10 a.m., someone entered the resident's driveway and attempted to open one locked vehicle with no success but were able to make entry to a second unlocked vehicle. The interior of the second vehicle was disturbed but no items were reported as missing. An investigation continues, according to police.
