Life Safety & Preventative Maintenance Service Tech:
• Inspect and ensure life safety devices are present and functional. Including but not limited to, current extinguisher inspection tags, no missing smoke alarms, no beeping smoke detectors. Replace batteries/devices as needed.)
• Check to ensure commercial fire equipment is in proper code and tagged by qualified vendors (Sprinkler systems, dry riser systems, fire pumps, etc.)
• Clean and maintain dryer vents periodically as needed.
• Inspect appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Conduct a thorough inspection of each apartment home (follow inspection checklist provided by management). Document each unit that has a pet/visible pet damage (broken blinds, clawed baseboards, etc.)
• Provide inspection reports using our company’s mobile app following site visits.
• Assist in maintaining general curb appeal of properties to include reporting and removing stored tenant goods, garbage, inoperable vehicles.
• Replace HVAC filters and maintain schedule for replacement. Provide correct filters sizes for each apartment. Report to management any A/C drips, noticeable clogs, loose wires, etc.
• Ensure each apartment home has an operable window in each bedroom.
• Ensure locks are not lose or damaged on front/back doors.
• Check for blocked exits creating fire hazards.
Full Time Position:
- Must have Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
- Must be able to Carry and climb an A-frame ladder.
- Employer to screen Criminal History
