Heritage Stables is hiring a full time groom. We are a professional training facility with 25 Hackney ponies and American Saddlebreds and are in need of a LONG TERM team member!
Responsibilities include:
-stall cleaning
-grooming horses
-clipping
-putting tack on horses
-toweling horses
-handling horses
-general farm clean up
Position Offers:
-$650 per week
-2 weeks paid time off
-Work with kind and generous people
Hours are: M-F 6am-3pm and Saturdays 6am-12pm. Occasional feeding on Sundays.
Opportunity to make extra money by traveling to shows or by staying home and getting tipped extremely well for keeping all in good order.
-Prior horse experience is a MUST
-Prefer prior experience with show horses
-Must have transportation
-Must show up for work everyday
-Must love horses and take pride in their work
-Must have integrity and follow through
