Position Title: Packaging - 2nd Shift Wage: $15.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Packaging position at a company in Chambersburg, PA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assists in operating filling line equipment and packaging equipment, does general inspections of products during operation and packs off finished product. - Performs packaging of finished product packages (i.e. makes up corrugated boxes and partitions, packs finished product in boxes, seals cases manually, labels or stencils finished cases with proper identification, and places finished cases on pallets using pre-determined case placements) and makes minor machine adjustments - Monitors product cases to insure proper weight and accurate packaging components and machinery for film splices, breakage, and machinery jams and report them to the service machine operator immediately. Requirements: - Effectively communicates verbally and written. - Self-starting and self-directing. - Exercises good judgment and decision making skills.
