Asphalt maintenance Crew Lead We are a growing company looking for an experienced Asphalt maintenance crew lead. This is a low stress work environment with good people and no drama. We strive to have the best equipment that is kept up and kept clean. The person in this position will manage and work with a crew. Must have good leadership skills and work well with others. Seal coating, crack filling, line striping experience is required. Full Job description- • Understand the job order, layout, and description of the project • Site preparation. (Securing lot, cleaning lot, sealing and or striping) • Use Seal coat equipment safely/efficiently. Edge and spray carefully and properly. • Be able to crack fill safely, using tools and equipment to do so. • Be able to stripe either to existing layout (if required) or do new layout (if required) Chalking as needed. Understand how to use, clean and maintain Graco sprayers. • Notify supervisor or shop manager of necessary repairs or maintenance when necessary. • Be able to drive and help maintain company vehicles. • Clean/maintain machines and tools each day. • Final walk on property assuring no equipment or debris is left behind and that job is complete and done well. • Assign tasks to crew members, give direction and teach when needed. Supervise 1 to 4 man crew as needed. • Must have a valid driver license with an insurable driving record. • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. • Job Type: Full-time • Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE • Monday to Friday with compressed work weeks as schedule allows. • Seal coating: 2 year (Preferred) Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance option • Compressed work week when possible • Christmas Bonus Schedule: • Monday to Friday but compressed work weeks (4 day) when schedule allows. At times be able to do weekend work. • Winter is generally part time (but paid time off through unemployment until work picks up again).
