Express Employment Professionals is hiring for one of our local Wood Production clients. They currently have 3 open temp to hire positions in their panel line department as a Grader. The pay rate is $15/hour. The Grader is responsible for assisting to meet the needs of the machine center. This position will ensure that all products meet the quality standards before passing product on the next step in production. This position also stacks product to be moved to the next area or prepared for shipment to customers. They would be assisting with machine operations, loading, and unloading. We would like to have them start on 03/07/22. The schedule for the position is 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday. If overtime is needed it is worked on Fridays and is mandatory when needed. This person would be working around large machinery, exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold temperatures. Also, here are some of our rules around clothing, masks, etc. for reference * This position does not need steel-toed boots, but does need to wear good quality leather shoes with traction and I would recommend them being waterproof * At our facility face masks are required regardless of vaccination status when within 6 feet of anyone else * The use of tobacco products is not allowed while on company property.
