I am an experienced hermit crab keeper and have been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming hermit crabs for some time now. While viewed as disposable pets, hermit crabs actually have a 40+ life span with proper care, and are very intricate beings. They require more sophisticated care than most would think, given their being advertised to children. I currently have space for 4-5 small crabs, 3 medium, or 2 large.
