Warehouse Worker / Packer Full-Time

We are a growing company looking for a motivated warehouse worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. You will pick and pack products, type postal/FedEx/UPS/SpeeDee shipping labels, and much more. The goal is to increase efficiency, minimize shipping errors, and concentrate on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Pick and pack products for customer orders Receive and process warehouse stock products Keep a clean and safe work environment Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (including standup forklift - See below) Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to learn product lines for accurate pulling and checking of orders for packing Ability to multi-task, focus, and stay on task Quick learning and retaining of new skills *** Must have a valid driver's license *** Applicants must be able to withstand physical demands of lifting heavy materials and standing for the majority of the work day - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs - Must be able to push, pull, reach for and pick up, up to at least 100 lbs - Must be able to stand for 2-5 hour intervals at a time Requirements: Proven work experience as a warehouse worker (or ability to learn) Proficiency in typing labels/shipping systems (or ability to learn) Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods are helpful Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects Experience/ability to operate standup forklift a plus What We Offer: A competitive wage & benefits (PTO, Holidays, holiday bonuses) Friendly work environment Health Insurance & Dental Insurance Retirement (Matching) On-the-job training Dog friendly workplace Compensation: $16.50 per hour to start & $17.00 per hour after 90 days $2 differential if working Sunday hours. Wage may be determined by past work experience, training, and education Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week) 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday to start. Some weekend hours may be necessary in the future. Our company currently employs 12 wonderful people and is located on the East-side of Madison behind the airport. We specialize in selling flooring-related products and accessories and other home improvement products. Our business consists of 99% online sales and ships thousands of packages a month around the country. Flooring related product knowledge is helpful, but we will train the right person.
