We are looking for an energetic, building material sales representative with good math skills, communication skills, experience with estimating and an ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Our company standards include excellent service, responding efficiently to customer inquiries and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Skills: • Strong phone skills and active listening • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Forklift experience preferred (can certify the right applicant) • Basic understanding of computers (to process sales orders in proprietary sales program Duties include: • Welcome delivery trucks. • Increase sales of materials to contractors and builders. • Able to handle phone inquiries and handle any customer questions. • Communicate with customers to provide information on shipment status, anticipated service failures, new pick-up and delivery times and alternative solutions where possible. • Assist in other roles as needed.
