Headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, we are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Ontario California Distribution Center. What we offer: Medical Dental Vision Supplemental Health Plans Company-Paid Life policy Paid Time Off Referral Program The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and delivering inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. The Warehouse Associate’s duties include loading product onto trucks, organizing incoming stock and confirming that product is correctly labeled prior to shipping. This position is also responsible for transporting garage door sections and materials from the warehouse to a designated personal or business location. Responsibilities: Follows the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading and unloading trucks. Meets delivery deadlines Communicates with team members to make efficient deliveries Load and unload cargo/materials Assists with tracking shipments and deliveries Report any possible maintenance issues immediately May schedule pre-approved basic vehicle maintenance Requirements: Valid Drivers license Knowledge of material handling to safely to prevent injury and/or damage Possess the physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo; ability to lift 50+ lbs Familiarity with navigation systems Time management skills to ensure that deliveries are made on schedule Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination Excellent defensive driving practices Excellent understanding of and adherence to all applicable traffic laws (including but not limited to: those addressing use of technology while driving, speed limits, etc) Required to stand, walk, reach, and kneel. Though not required, warehouse/distribution experience is preferred. Principals only.
