Boudreau Pipeline a top workplace in the Inland Empire for over 6 years is currently looking for Pipelayers! The Pipelayer position is responsible for performing various duties on construction projects. Essential Functions Installs and repair sanitary, storm, sewer structures, and pipe systems Reads, identify, and understand blueprints related to all above and below ground utilities Reports any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager Aligns and position pipes Checks slopes for conformance to requirements, using instruments such as lasers and grade rod Connects pipe pieces and seal joints Covers pipe with earth or other materials Levels trench bases, using machinery or hand tools Ensures a clean and safe working environment and addressing any potential safety concerns Other duties assigned Safety Responsible for ensuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times including but not limited to operation of tools, equipment and machinery Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately Qualifications Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training Knowledge of pipe laying method, practices, and procedures Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills Knowledgeable of water, sewer, and storm drain system Able to dig trenches to locate utilities by hand or using trenching tools Ability to handle, fit, and install drainage, sewer, water, and associated appurtenances
