I'll play any kind of music that will get people enthusiastically off their kiesters and jam for an afternoon or evening. Talk of bands or commitment AFTER we meet and play. Specifically wouldn't mind meeting some OPEN-MINDED and INCLUSIVE players who understand that musicians from different backgrounds and musical backgrounds can indeed play together, and that is often how to meld and forge a NEW and ORIGINAL sound.
