Field Agent – Sco-Jo Environmental Job Title: Field Agent Location: Edmond office location (in-house position only) with travel to field sites in/out of state. Terms: Full time; Hours may vary and at times exceed 40-hour work weeks on occasion. Salary: Entry Level pay will start at $45,000 yearly. An increase in entry pay will be determined based on levels of experience. About the role: Field agents are responsible for traveling to and locating oil leases on a topography map to perform inspection tasks as well as complete necessary paperwork and reports. They must maintain personal safety following guidelines of fieldwork, provide communication between the field and office staff, and upkeep company truck and equipment in great condition. Responsibilities: • Varied schedule to include traveling to locations by rotating one to two weeks in the field with one week in the office. • Strong math skills to use measuring wheel and other tools in the field. • Knowledgeable in the following programs: Word, Excel, Mapping Software, CAD Software. • Must be detailed oriented, punctual, and be able to follow directions. • Must be able to read maps and have a good sense of direction. • Communicates effectively in a positive way to clients and co-workers; good people skills. • Organizational skills to manage paperwork and deadlines. Candidate Requirements: • Must have a minimum of 2 years college education. Associates or bachelor’s preferred. • Must have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in the oil and gas industry. • Must provide at least three references, with 1 to include a reference from an individual in the oil and gas industry. • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
