Volunteering on a Working Horse Ranch

Description

We have horses, goats, pig, turkeys, guinea hens, geese, and ducks. Ranch upkeep, maintenance, hay harvesting and working in the vegetable garden is all part of ranching and farming. Time commitment is approximately 1.5-2 hours or longer one morning or afternoon each week. This is a volunteer program intended for learning and to be therapeutic. Sometimes we send people home with a small amount of eggs and vegetables as a thank you for your help when eggs and vegetable are available. Lifting of up to 50 lbs is required. Minimum 3 month commitment.
