Senior Living Community in San Rafael seeking an Community Events & Resident Services Manager
The VIP Community Events and Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordinating and directing a wide range of activities that meet the social and recreation needs of residents. This position also supervises Resident Services staff, and oversees various vendor contracts and move-ins.
- Relevant experience in coordinating a wide range of appealing activities and programs for seniors.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse personalities, the elderly and staff.
- Clear, diplomatic, concise, complete and accurate communication skills.
- Analytical skills to evaluate programs and activities, as well as employees and contractor employees.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and email, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.
- Ability to supervise employees and oversee the performance of site contract employees.
- Ability to prepare, monitor and adhere to departmental budget.
- “On call” availability on nights, evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis, and availability to respond to emergency needs.
