This is the problem with the democrat party. They have no understanding of just about anything and can only repeat the party propaganda. Shell Oil and BP suspended drilling and oil exploration with Russia, not the buying of oil on the oil market. Oil is produced by many different states and put on the world market for sale by oil brokers. Refineries don't care where the oil comes from as long as they have access to the amount they need. Crude oil will pass through up to a dozen different brokers before it ends up in someone's gas tank. The OP tells us that conservatives blame democrats for everything. Is that like blaming Trump for every mistake biden has made and not biden? At least conservatives have facts on our side, not made up lies to cover for a demented democrat president. The OP seems to forget that we were oil independent under the Trump administration. It was the stupidity of biden who cut domestic oil production with his insane signing statements. Deny all you want but it is biden who bears responsibility for the $112.00 price per barrel of oil that we are faced with today.
