This woodworking job is located in Ballground, GA (North GA) and is a 40-50 hour/week full-time position in a large woodworking/manufacturing setting. Initial duties will be taking a product and sanding it down so it's polished. Also will be assisting in assembling components for the product as well and we will work to train you how to use saws, drills, and nail guns to assist in the building of the product. This job starts at $14-17/hr based on years experience and has plenty of room for growth. Our pay period is biweekly and you would be a W2/W4 employee. Hours are 7am-4 pm Monday-Friday. However, this job is also seasonal and for the months of March-June you will be expected to work 50 hr/week with plenty of overtime at the pay and a half rate. For the rest of the year you will be working 40 hour weeks. There will be additional opportunities during the busy season to work up to 60 hours per week also however this is optional. An ideal candidate would live in or near the Ball Ground/Canton/Cumming/Jasper area. Our business is located in the Ball Ground area near Matt Hwy (Hwy 369) and Hwy 372. Prior experience in construction is not required but is a plus. You must have a willingness to learn and a good work ethic and be able to meet production goals after training.
