Well established landscape company seeks dependable Landscape Construction Foreman/Supervisor * Wage range: $19-$22 per hour, depending on experience. * Sign on bonus of $400-$800 depending on experience level proven during 1st week of employment (paid out 1/2 after 30 days, 2nd 1/2 after 60 days, with on-time daily attendance). * Company cell phone provided for daily business use only. * Paid every Friday for previous week. * Referral bonuses available for referring new employees to company Essential Functions and Responsibilities: -Understands and follows safe construction work practices in all aspects of the job. -Can read and understand landscape installation instructions and basic plans. -Can operate and has experience with most landscape construction related equipment, ie: skid steer, front end loader, trenchers, 2 cycle equipment and various other construction related tools. -Able to manage and train 3-6 crew members according to industry and Company standards. -Able to manage time and job responsibilities to meet project deadlines. -Understands turf, shrub, cactus and tree installation best practices. -Experience with hardscape, granite and rip-rap installations. -Understands basic irrigation installation and repairs. -Familiar with all desert tree/plant material. -Able to work and communicate with subcontractors. -Can quickly identify issues and roadblocks that could hinder job productivity and communicate adjustments with Superintendent. -Responsible for the safe use and management of all equipment and hand tools assigned to crew. -Clean driver’s license preferred Company participates in E-Verify and is a drug & alcohol-free, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer that welcomes all qualified applicants.
