We're looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper/Landscaper to join our team today! Position Summary As a Groundskeeper/Landscaper you will ensure that community grounds are maintained and up to community standards. The groundskeeper will maintain plants, shrubs, and any other landscaping needs in our park communities. This person will also be responsible for sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks. This position will require travel between job sites in Mesa, so it's a great fit for someone who likes to be on the go! Weekly allowance for gas will be provided. Rental discounts at our properties General Responsibilities: Performs general landscape. Prepare, maintain and restore property grounds. Remove fallen or damaged leaves, branches, and or twigs. Spray and pull weeds Use of hand tools such as: shovels, rakes, hedge and brush trimmers. Monitor and report irrigation issues or problems to the Maintenance Coordinator. Inspects park communities daily to free the park grounds of any litter, debris, trash, and pet droppings. Education and General Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in landscaping Can safely operate landscaping equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Organized and punctual. Must be able to work independently and follow instructions. Must know how to operate technology (flip phones aren't welcome here!) Candidate needs reliable transportation and a working phone that has Internet access.
