From the City of Decatur: Posted on Feb. 21, 2020 Ameren Illinois will be performing a gas main installation on Wood Street beginning Monday, Feb. 24, weather permitting. This work will cause the closure of the westbound lane of Wood Street between Hilton and Calhoun, starting at 7 a.m., Monday, Feb. 24, and will continue to approximately 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26. Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and are encouraged to seek an alternate route around the work zone. This press release was produced by the City of Decatur.
