Caregiving for seniors is some of the most important work you can ever do. It is also some of the most stressful, scary, and difficult work around. But no matter how hard that work might be, you are not alone. Help is available.
That's why the Grand Rapids Public Library and Mercy Health St. Mary’s are holding a Caregiver Expo on Sunday, April 24. Come and connect with community services, advocates, and organizations in the Grand Rapids area that work with housing, legal, healthcare, and other issues of pressing importance to caregivers and seniors. These organizations help both seniors and caregivers live their best lives.
Whether you're a senior, family member, or a caregiver yourself, come to the Caregiver Expo to learn how many hands can make this important work better for you and your family.
The Caregiver Expo will be the signature event of our series Seniors Be Well at GRPL, an event series funded by the National Library of Medicine.
