L.L.Bean Fly Tying Series Class meets on 2nd floor of Hunting & Fishing Store Week 16 Honey Ant Terrestrial. Mike's Honey Ant is a creation of Mike Lawson of Henry's Fork Anglers. Ants are a favorite food of trout. Ants are considered terrestrials and when they are blown onto the water, fish know that they struggle to get away. Patterns like the Mike's Honey Ant should be a "go to" pattern when warm breezes blow and you see those flying ants in the air. For the health and safety of all, we are encouraging event attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Masks and hand sanitizing stations will be available.
