Laid-back lunar eclipse viewing in the National Arboretum's meadow
Join us on the evening of Sunday, May 15th for a viewing of the total lunar eclipse. Kick back and relax in the Arboretum's Ellipse Meadow as you watch the total lunar eclipse of the Blood Moon.
You'll get to see the penumbral eclipse begin and move towards the total eclipse, which will reach its maximum around midnight.
This event is free but registration is required to attend. Registrants are welcome to come and go as they need anytime between 8 PM to midnight.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic, but no alcohol is allowed at this event. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
