Learn to optimize your trim and see the wind like a pro in this one-night seminar with world-class sailing coach Andrew Kerr The South Sound Sailing Society is proud once again to host Andrew Kerr for a one-night seminar on sail trim, starts, and tactics. He will answer questions about tuning your boat for optimum performance in any sailing conditions. Anyone with a question or topic you want him to cover can drop him a line at [email protected]. Send photos if you have a specific question about your rig. This will be an in-person event in the Viewpoint Room of Tugboat Annie’s at the West Bay Marina. Attendees are expected to be masked and fully vaccinated in accordance with state guidelines. We will also offer a hybrid option via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Individuals who have registered will be notified of any changes prior to the event. The cost is $10 per person. SSSS will absorb the ticketing service fee for club members, but if you wish donate the cost of the ticketing fees, please choose the "Nonmember" option. Andrew is a full-time racing coach for the past 35 years with North U and Kerr Sailing. His goal is to maximize every teams performance and help them accomplish their goals. Teams he has coached have won numerous major regattas as well as regional, national, North American and world championships in J/80, Farr 40, Beneteau 40. 7, J/120, ID 35, T-10, S2 7. 9, Ensign, J/22, J/24, Melges 24, J/27, J/35, J/105, J/109, Farr 30 and countless more.
