Learn how to make a versatile work, gardening, studio, or kitchen apron with heavy weight denim and multiple pockets. This is an awesome and very versatile apron - and easy to sew! We will be making this apron in either denim, or you are welcome to bring your own fabric. Using heavier fabric makes this a very tough apron, perfect for painting, working, kitchen use, gardening, etc. Options are many in this class! You can add multiple pockets, shorten the apron if you don't like it long, make the waist ties be "tie in back" or longer for "tie in front". (see pics), or even bring your own "straps" if you want something bold and contrasting. PROVIDED: Pattern and instructions for you to keep, denim fabric, and all threads and tools. You are welcome to bring a different fabric of your choice if you do not want denim. (Please bring PRE WASHED AND DRIED, 1.25 yards) If you want to bring different webbing or strapping, you will need a total length of 3 yards for your straps. You can choose to use one of my machines, or you can bring your own sewing machine. It is recommended that if you have your own, you bring it, as the more practice you get on your own machine, the better! SKILL LEVEL: Beginners/Intermediate. (you must have previous sewing knowledge, and be able to navigate and use your sewing machine without much help) ***If bringing your own machine please be SURE it is working before class!
