LCC and BBBSCI come together at Cape Cod Beer to find 60 guys in 30 days. Cash Bar, complimentary food and more! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands is on a mission to help children in under-resourced families thrive by providing transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors. Founded in 1974 BBBS is the only volunteer based, one to one, professionally supported mentoring program on the Cape & Islands. BBBS currently serves over 300 kids throughout the Cape & Islands and since March of 2020, boys on Cape Cod have waited an average of 500 days for a mentor. There are currently 60 boys on Cape Cod and the Islands who need a helpful supportive Male Mentor. Over the years Leadership Cape Cod and CLI service project groups have worked to support this incredible organization. Mentorship and Leadership go hand in hand, which is why Leadership Cape Cod is sponsoring an event to help find 60 Guys in 30 Days ! Join us on March 9th at 5:30pm at Cape Cod Beer and talk with current & past Bigs and learn a little bit about how you can get involved to end this wait.
