Girls Health Matters - Pushing H(ealth)
M.E.A.N Girls Empowerment (MGE) is excited to host our 1st Annual Health Summit for girls ages 13-18 entitled Girls Health Matters. This year's theme is Pushing H(ealth), a twist on the popular social media phrase, Pushing P(ositivity)!
The goal for this in-person summit is to encourage girls to maintain healthy lifestyles. Sessions will include intimate conversations around human trafficking, mental awareness, reproductive education, and the day includes a physical activity.
Many girls are struggling right now. They have questions regarding their physical, mental and reproductive health. It is our goal to not only answer these questions, but to do so in a fun, supportive and judgement free environment. MGE recognizes the impact that the pandemic, social media, and peer pressure sometimes has on our girls and we are prepared to help!
