Veer makes drivetrain alternatives targeted at the light electric vehicle industry. Our current product line features a carbonfiber belt drivetrain aimed at the cycling world. We are a young company that is focused on developing the best drivetrain. We are looking for another production worker to join our quickly growing team. Job responsibilities: • Operating machinery that performs series of cutting and drilling operations. Includes loading the belt into fixtures and pressing the start button. • Quality control of belts and other components. • Completing work orders and requests in a timely fashion • Adhere to safety policies and procedures • Packaging and assembling components for our orders The job involves production of our belts which includes loading the belt into a fixture, checking different specifications, and the machine will run and cut the belt and drill holes in it automatically. No machining experience is required. Quality control process would look like visually inspecting components, using our fixtures to measure components, and organizing them into "pass" and "fail". Pretty straightforward process that will be taught by us. Packaging would look like packaging our components in kraft paper into medium/large sized boxes and labeled clearly. If you have engineering experience then there is opportunity for engineering projects as well. Otherwise, no experience is required. The job will require a fair amount of standing and moving around. We are looking for someone that has attention to detail, can follow directions well, has good communication, and is a self starter and be able to manage themselves well when given instructions. Pay starts at $18/hr. Work schedule is very flexible but we are looking for someone to start with 30-40 hours a week. Looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
