Job description Our Construction Yard Maintenance position is a hands-on position. This is a non-union position. The position includes: Managing all traffic in and out of the yard. Managing materials and deliveries from the yard to the jobsites. Inventory control. Managing tool inventory, repairs and purchase requests. Maintain good record keeping. Tracking and record keeping of equipment usage. Coordinate all vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance. Maintain proper record keeping of all vehicle repairs. The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience with a construction company working in a construction yard. Prior knowledge of building materials preferred. Prior knowledge of construction tools and uses. Knowledge of Excel software Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts. Ability to lift 75+ lbs, and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout the work shift. Strong communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish a plus). Willingness to learn. Team player. Must maintain a good driving record. Class A license is a bonus. Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen test.
