Description
An interactive workshop exploring the consequences of racism on the individual and society. Recent events have made the inequities of racism more visible. There is a growing need to better understand the reality of racism and its effects upon individuals. The experience of repeated racism throughout life and through the generations before leads to an injury of trauma. Join us for an interactive workshop as Trusted Mentors unpacks the experience of racial trauma and how it affects both individuals and the systems we live within. You’ll get a shared definition of racism and explore your experiences in a dynamic presentation by Jacqueline Bell (JB).
