Bike care for the novice mechanic We’ve had lots of interest in our maintenance classes, so we are bundling all of our typical individual classes into this one intense, one day workshop. Topics that will be covered include: Flat tire repairCleaning and inspection of the entire bicycleProper drivetrain lubricationCable systems (traditional mechanical brake and derailleur - hydraulic and electronic systems will not be covered)IMPORTANT NOTES:♦ All topics will be hands on with your bicycle. ♦ Bring your bicycle!!! ♦ Bring a ground cloth of some sort for the cleaning portion (painter's drop cloth, old sheet, etc.) and some rags (old, cut-up t-shirts work great). ♦ Neither lunch or dinner will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks to eat during the workshop. Adult beverages will be available to purchase, feel free to bring non-alcoholic beverages. ♦ Please note that workshop attendance will be limited to 10 participants and requires a minimum of 5 for it to run. ♦ While this workshop is scheduled to go until 6:00pm, we may go as later if there are lots of questions/discussion. ♦ We ask that you consider wearing a mask for the comfort and safety of all participants
