Connect Suicide Postvention Training & Response presented by the Malheur County Postvention Team. CEU's are available and lunch is provided. WHAT IS A POSTVENTION SUICIDE RESPONSE? Postvention is an organized response in the aftermath of a Suicide to accomplish any one or more of the following: 1.To provide immediate or long-term support to facilitate the healing of survivors of suicide loss through their grief process. 2.To mitigate other negative effects of exposure to suicide. 3.To prevent suicide among people who are at high risk after exposure to suicide. Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) OUR SHARED VISION: “Good Postvention becomes Prevention.” We can assist you in your efforts to build an Organizational Postvention Plan to mitigate harm and to coordinate with the community and resources after a suicide death.
