Annual RTF at SXSW Reunion Party & UT RTF Longhorn Denius Student Film Showcase! Dear UT Radio-Television-Film alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and graduate students, SXSW is back in person! It's been a minute. More like..3 years (!) since we've South-By-ed in person together! We are excited to invite you to help us celebrate this year's creative work on Sunday, March 13th, with old and new friends at our reinstated Annual RTF SXSW Reunion Party and UT RTF Longhorn Denius Student Film Showcase, which will immediately follow the party. The two events will be held at adjacent venues. Parking should be plentiful. Please RSVP if you think you'll be able to make it so that we can have a rough idea of who's coming. *8–10:30 pm UT RTF 2022 Longhorn Denius Student Film Showcase Free & Open to the Public AFS Cinema 6406 N I-35 Suite 3100 After the party, we'll move next door to AFS Cinema, where we'll watch UT RTF's 2022 Longhorn Denius Student Film Showcase, featuring recent fiction and experimental films from RTF students. This year's films are by Sara Pinar Onder • Sebastian Valdivieso • Susannah Joffe & Jackson Ingraham • Prakshi Malik • Dana Reilly • Marcelo De Stefano • Nicole Chi • Austin Leih • Matt Lennon • Maggie M. Bailey. More details can be found on the RTF site. Note: Eventbrite registration is only for the Vivo Tex Mex party. The SXSW Community screening will be free and open to the public. Badge holders will be allowed in first, followed by film pass/wristband holders, after which, the public will be invited to join the free event. Seating is limited, so get there early! DIRECTIONS TO 6406 North Interstate Highway 35 Both venues are near each other on the Middle Fiskville Rd. side (west) of the shopping center.DRIVING From I-35: Take exit 238-A and head west on the 290 access road. Turn right on Clayton and right again on Middle Fiskville Rd. (heading northeast). Both venues will be on the right after Office Depot. From Airport Blvd: Turn onto Highland Park Blvd. Turn Right onto Middle Fiskville Rd. The venues will be on your left. We hope to see you!
