Beyond Barriers is a day retreat for women to join together to learn & inspire by hearing the stories of remarkable women in your community! Beyond Barriers day retreats are designed to ignite inspiration and passion for finding and going 'BEYOND' in your life through movement, pushing outside of comfort zones, and the sharing of amazing stories from women just like you!!! Each event chooses to support women in as many ways as possible! We strive to seek out women owned businesses within the community and support them by sharing their story and by purchasing their products and talents for our events. Every Event Includes *Coffee, Pastries, Snacks, Catered Lunch & Cocktail/Mocktail to complete the day! All purchased from the talented women and members of YOUR community of Iowa City! *Gentle Yoga& Guided Meditation that is accessible to ANYONE!! (This means throw on your comfy clothing, put that hair in a ponytail, and grab your yoga mat!) * Three UNBELIEVABLE AND INSPIRING Speakers that live, work, and thrive in Iowa City! *Journal for Notes and Self Reflection *Optional Raffle to raise money and awareness for DVIP (Domestic Violence Intervention Program) **please contact us if you will need us to provide you a yoga mat for the day, dietary restrictions, and any accessibility needs you may have!
