Meet Wheelbarrow. He is a loving and beautiful Cinnamon Queen rooster. Wheelbarrow was sadly attacked by an adult chicken and injured as a chick and lost his eyesight in both eyes. He is completely healthy otherwise and with a little help is able to easily find his food and water and enjoy walking around his pen with other chickens. Unfortunately we are unable to continue keeping Wheelbarrow. Though we are technically allowed to have roosters in our area we are in a small neighborhood and his crowing has started causing complaints. We care deeply about our boy and want to find him a loving home as a farmyard pet. He would enjoy being apart of a small flock of gentle hens and allowed to enjoy his days. He needs a smaller enclosure so he can find his way around and things need to be left in place so nothing is rearranged and causes him confusion. He likes to sleep on a low roosting pole. He needs help finding his way in and out of a coop when weather is bad. If you feel you can provide Wheelbarrow with a good life please contact me. He is NOT available to anyone who would wish to eat him and it would not be safe to do so as he has been given medication for his eye injuries that is not safe for animals meant for food. He is about 9 months old.
