Join us Saturday March 12th for the first Rich City Rides “Battling Diabetes Ride”. Join us Saturday March 12th in the morning for the first Rich City Rides “Battling Diabetes Ride”. A Diabetes diagnosis can be a scary thing, it’s a life changer that no one should experience alone. The Rich City Rides family want you to know that diabetes is not an event but a journey and that journey is filled with genuine joy, love and comradeship. There is hope in this fight. Diabetes and pre-diabetes afflicts over 120 million Americans. All of us know someone with some form of Diabetes. Let us join together on the 12th (10am at the Unity Park Bike Hub) in comradeship and love to reclaim our lives. The ride will be short and sweet and led by Rich City Rides staff member Alexander Peter (a type two diabetic since 2018), volunteer Cynthia Guevara and local first responders. This ride is open to everyone; if you love and care for someone with diabetes or just want to learn more about diabetes, we’d love to see you on Saturday the 12th! The meet up is at 10:00 AM.
