Join us as we explore the whimsical world of “tilt” hats from the 1940’s. These styles are in a class all their own, and use vertical planes and saucy angles to create a dramatic, eye-catching look. In this class you will create a hat inspired by an authentic vintage pattern circa 1940’s. Using a combination of flat patterning, draping, and blocking, you will stretch your talents in this challenging and fun workshop. Our experienced instructor will guide you step by step through the process, giving you plenty of tips and tricks to make your hat a success! Led by our in-house team, this workshop will provide expertise and supervision from some of the most creative and skilled milliners in the industry. The Hattery will be providing all the millinery materials needed. Of course if you have some supplies of your own, feel free to bring them along. Open to all skill levels.
