SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Sonoma County holds a virtual town hall Tuesday evenings. The weekly meeting runs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and includes questions and answers about the coronavirus crisis in Sonoma County.
The one-hour program is hosted by Northern California Public Media and features county officials, including Interim Public Health Officer Dr. Sundari Mase, as well as members of the Board of Supervisors.
Of 2,800 Sonoma County residents tested for COVID-19 — the disease caused by the new coronavirus — there have been a total of 120 confirmed cases. There were 81 active cases in the county as of Tuesday evening, while 38 residents have recovered from the respiratory illness.
There has been one coronavirus-related death in the county.
