An unforgettable music camp, music video project, and concert for singers ages 7-18, featuring Broadway star Pat Dunn as guest artist!
Does your child love to sing? Greenville Youth Chorale's "Summer on Stage!" offers singers ages 7 to 18 the chance of a lifetime to work side-by-side with one of Broadway's biggest stars - Pat Dunn, who sings the lead role of "Jean Valjean" with the North American tour of "Les Miserables"! Singers meet Tuesday-Friday, July 12-15 from 9:00 a.m. to noon as they rehearse, audio and video record "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins from Disney's Tarzan, alongside Pat Dunn and GYC Artistic Director, Laura Cook Brundage. The highlight of the week is the Thursday night concert "An Evening with Pat Dunn" in which Pat presents some of Broadway's greatest hits in unforgettable fashion; during the concert, singers join Pat on stage for a performance of "You'll Be in My Heart." The culmination of the week is the production and premiere of the music video of "You'll Be in My Heart" that is audio and video recorded Thursday and Friday; the video premieres August 7 on Greenville Youth Chorale's Facebook and YouTube channels. All camp activities take place in downtown Greenville at First Presbyterian Church from 9:00 a.m. to noon; the concert is Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Don't miss this incredible event!
